Inclusive Schools Week is December 6-10 and celebrates the work schools do to provide a supportive and quality education to an increasingly diverse student population, including students who are marginalized due to disability, gender, socio-economic status, cultural heritage, language preference, and other factors.

Throughout the week, we have multiple events taking place in each of our schools. We also have a public event we would like to invite you to attend! Staff at the Central Education Center are partnering with the City of Richfield for a presentation at the new playground at Augsburg Park. The playground designer will talk about the playground design, which provides a safe and welcoming play environment for children of all abilities.

Join us on December 9 at 3:30 p.m. at the Augsburg Park playground (or the Richfield Community Center in the event of bad weather). There will be a short presentation followed by a meet-and-greet with the playground designer. Snacks and hot chocolate will be provided.
